The unclean bird called the bat shall not be eaten...I agree completely! I did very poorly; I might've done better if I'd just clicked Bible every time. They both have a lot of cringe-worthy and anachronistic quotes, albeit out of context, and probably selected for that reason. I went in with the notion that it would be easy to discern which is which, but the Bible and the Quran are surprisingly similar, both in content and syntax. I also noticed that the majority of the Bible quotes came from Deuteronomy and Leviticus - so maybe its just those books that compare well with the Quran.

I also did pretty terribly. I think a lot of the quotes were targeted to trip me up though--Whenever they used a character's name (like Solomon) they always had it come from the Quran. I think my score was 19 at the end, and I had answered about 90.
I noticed that a lot of the quotes chosen that turned out to be Biblical were of the more "fire and brimstone" variety, and some that would more generally be associated with Christianity or Judaism (along the lines of "God loves you") actually came from the Quran. This whole game was probably an exersize in getting people to see similarities and differences between the two faiths!

Perceptive comments, folks. Yes indeed, John, Leviticus & Deuteronomy are among the main legal repositories for the Bible (also Exodus). Jewish tradition holds there are 613 mitzvot (commands) in the Torah. Quranic scholars evidently debate about precisely how many laws are stated in the Quran.
